Julianne is President of the Thompson Group, a firm of real estate professionals, appraisers, and stagers. Before changing careers, she worked as a legislative aide to the United States House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary, and Subcommittee on the Constitution. During the 2000 Presidential election, she was Press Secretary of the Georgia Republican Party.
She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Liberty University, and studied for her Master’s at Regent University in Virginia Beach, where she was an on-air reporter for the Christian Broadcasting Network.
In 2007, Julianne was appointed by Governor Perdue, to the State Children’s Trust Fund Commission, where she represents the 7th Congressional District. Since 2005, she has served as the BOC Chairman’s appointee to the Gwinnett County Planning Commission. She has served on the District Attorney’s Blue Ribbon Panel for Victim-Witness Assistance, Gwinnett’s Great Days of Service, and the Suwanee Day Parade. Julianne is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett, and Coverdell Leadership Institute.
Julianne has worked on numerous campaigns on the local, state, and national levels, and is highly regarded as an accomplished fundraiser. From 2003-2005, she served as First Vice Chairman of the Gwinnett County Republican Party. Julianne has been awarded a Citation of Honor from the Disabled American Veterans. She has been included in the directory of Outstanding Young Women in America, Distinguished Young Leadership, and the National Dean’s List. She is a former Young Miss Tennessee.
Julianne lives in Suwanee with her husband, Jason, and their two children, Victoria and Hayden.

Michael L. "Sully" Sullivan is a partner in the law firm of Andersen, Tate & Carr, P.C. where he heads up the Zoning, Land Use & Government Relations section. Sully is active in the Metro Atlanta community, serving as a member of the board of directors of the Council for Quality Growth and the Gwinnett Open Land Trust and as Vice Chairman of the Gwinnett County Water & Sewer Authority. Sully is an active member of the Republican National Lawyers Association, Federalist Society and Georgia Property Rights Coalition. Sully has twice been named to James Magazine's annual list of "Georgia Super Lawyers."
Sully’s political involvement includes: the Georgia Republican Party (State Committee, 2002-2005); Gwinnett Republican Party (General Counsel, 2002-2005); Athens-Clarke County Republican Party (Vice Chairman, 1998-2000); Gwinnett Young Republicans (Chairman, 2001-2003), the Gwinnett Republican Foundation, Inc. (Director) and Republican Leadership Fund (Secretary and General Counsel). Sully is one of the founders and directors of the Live Oak Republicans, Inc. Sully also served as Governor Sonny Perdue’s Gwinnett County Campaign Co-Chair in 2002 and 2006 and was a member of Governor Perdue’s Inaugural Committee.
Most recently, Sully was appointed to the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia by Governor Sonny Perdue to represent the Seventh Congressional District and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the External Affairs and Economic Development Committee.
Sully is a “Double Dawg” having received his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Georgia. Sully's wife Rebecca is also a "Double Dawg" attorney, who formerly served as a Policy Advisor and Executive Counsel to Governor Sonny Perdue.
The Sullivans live in Lilburn and have two children: Grace and Nash. They attend Grace Fellowship Church in Snellville.

Mike graduated from Georgia Southern University where he received a BBA in Finance with an emphasis in Risk Management and Insurance. He has worked in the Insurance Industry his entire professional career and in 2004 Mike helped establish Bryant Wharton & Thompson Risk Advisors where he is an Insurance Consultant and Broker to Business Owners. He has furthered his professional education by becoming a Certified Insurance Counselor and a Certified Workers’ Compensation Advisor.
Mike has been very involved in the community and politics for many years. He has served as Chairman of the Gwinnett County Republican Party and Chairman of the 7th Congressional District Republican Party. Mike has also served as a Planning Commissioner for Gwinnett County and is currently Vice Chairman of the Gwinnett County Zoning Board of Appeals. He is personally involved in the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and Grayson High School Tip-off Club. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia PAC. Mike has helped many candidates for public office on various levels including President, Senate, Congress, Governor, and numerous other state and local campaigns. Most recently Mike was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to serve on the Board of Directors of the Governors Office of Consumer Affairs as the Representative from the 7th Congressional District.
Mike and his wife Lori are both life-long residents of Gwinnett County . He and Lori have three daughters and live in the Grayson area. Mike enjoys coaching his daughters in sports, is an avid outdoorsman and is currently working towards his Private Pilots License.
Buzz Brockway

Buzz Brockway is a former Chairman of the Gwinnett County Republican Party. In 2006 Buzz served as Chairman of Governor Perdue's reelection campaign in Gwinnett County. In 2005, he managed State Representative Melvin Everson's campaign, and made history in Georgia, by running the campaign that elected Georgia’s first African-American Republican to win in a run-off election.
As a well-known Republican throughout the State, he writes for Georgia’s premier political blog – www.peachpundit.com . He is also regarded as an accomplished demographer. Buzz graduated from the Coverdell Leadership Institute in 2001.
Buzz is a 1990 graduate of Georgia Tech, with a B.S. in Management Science, and currently serves as Operations Manager for The Plastics Group in Lawrenceville.
Buzz lives in Lawrenceville with his wife Christa and daughters Hope, Grace and Joy. They are active members of Calvary Christian Fellowship.
Joan Zellner

Joan Zellner retired after 37 Years as a Senior Bond Underwriter for Transamerica Insurance Company, then a subsidiary of Transamerica Corp. Joan currently serves is a member of the Gwinnett County Board of Voter Registration and Elections to which she was appointed in 1992 .
She has been an active member of the Republican Party for over 30 years, having held many elected and appointed positions on a local, district and state level in that organization as well as serving on several candidate campaign committees prior to appointment to the Board of Elections.
Joan presently serves on the Republican Party 7th District State Committee. She is a founding member of the Greater Gwinnett Republican Women.
Joan lives in the Buford area with her family and her two Maltese, Tasha and Max, where she is active in her community.
